This policy describes what Hexter collects and why.

What we collect

Hexter the app collects nothing. It has no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no analytics SDK. Hexter runs in the macOS App Sandbox with access only to files you explicitly open; recent files persist across launches via security-scoped bookmarks, which never leave your Mac.

Hexter’s Analyze tab can use Apple’s on-device Apple Intelligence to summarize or help search a file. This processing happens on-device; Hexter does not send file contents to Serious Business Software LLC or any third party.

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment information.
